game brief 
a brief is a set of instructions given in a job to create or achieve something these are usually quite basic but you will have to add mare to complete it. This may consist of a client brief (which is given by someone else)a own brief (which is one you made) and market research to have something to base your brief on.

ideas generation

brainstorming- is jotting down everything there is to do with a subject to help with your ideas in your game 
mood boards - is similar to brainstorming but more picture based this could consist of textures or patterns you could use
thumbnail sketching- is a way so make characters and weapons for your games sprites
concept drawings- producing ideas of various game part for example backgrounds vehicles and   characters 

legal an ethical considerations
copyright law - this is a law that was made to stop people using other peoples ideas in there own creation if you brake the law you can loose alot of money "Copyright law originated in the United Kingdom from a concept of common law; the Statute of Anne 1709. It became statutory with the passing of the Copyright Act 1911. The current act is the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988." .
libel - a published false statement that is damaging to a person's reputation.
representation of females in games - women are mainly sexulised in computer games.

interlectual property is stuff created from the mids such as artist work and designs.
